There's also two videos available from Gamers Hell - the E3 Trailer, which, among other things, shows off the marvellously inventive Topsy Turvy bomb :D

There's also the 5 minute long intro movie for download too... further displaying the games humor.

It looks like it could be good fun

There's a rather in-depth preview on C&VG which offers more of an insight into this game.

Also, this months Edge magazine mentions that currently the AI (both enemy and friendly) seems a little unbalanced, and that the cross-hair sensitivity is a tad over sensitive, it also comments on how the graphics are merely functional - but closes in saying:

The one area that doesn't need any tweaking though is the core game mechanics. In spite of the unfinished bits outlined above, Armed and Dangerous is a joy to play and the action is unremitting.

It seems to be scoring okay at Game Rankings.com, nothing special but 83% is not to be sniffed at.

Why is this game available in the states, yet Amazon say that the game won't be available for release until the 20th Feburary over here? That's just not on....

Yes, but WHY? It's so unfair... I'd like the chance to waste my money on games before they Americans have a chance to tell me how rubbish it is...

And it's (finally) out now, I think it came out on December 5th...

The Americans are only protecting us from our darker selves.

You know how we can't be trusted to do these things ourselves. <_<

Voodoo Extreme have word on a demo, although currently only available via Fileplanet - which, as a further insult (the first being the Americans getting the game before us) the game is a Fileplanet exclusive... meaning that unless you're a paid up member of theirs, you aren't getting this demo...

Having finally seen a cover disk rolling demo I have to say it looks a lot like the original MDK, which whilst a one sided coin was a damned interesting and original looking game. (I never played the 2nd one but it didn't get such good praise presumably because the surprise or Wow factor had been used up on the first one).

I'm still pretty interested in this one....depending how it fares in gameplay.

I'm just d'loading the 175M of demo now from FilePlanet (I assume it's playable...)

and Amazon have dispatched KOTOR to me, so I'm going to be busy over Christmas (what -- Turkey, Carols, family get-together? nah I'm going to be hunched over the monitor teehee  )

As for MDK, I loved it! No 2 was just as good, but if there was a downside to either game, it was the absolute pixel-precision you needed at some points. In 2, I got completelty stuck in one scene and just gave up, never to return, so I never got to see the final stages :(

Well, it is a playable demo - but you need to be a fileplanet registered member to recieve the code that allows you to unlock and play on the demo... Very frustrating, but hopefully it'll stop being a Fileplanet exclusive soon, and be available for download without having to be a member of any site...

KOTOR? Absoultely brilliant game...

doh :(

KOTOR, yeh looking forward to it - but, errmmm, no mention anywhere of multiplayer option, that's most important to me nowadays, single player is fun for a while, but you can't beat killing real people :>

There's now a public demo out, although due to this (perhaps) - the only place currently offering a download mirror is Gamespot DLX which requires registration.

Well, I had to leave my computer on all night to download the demo - due to the pitiful download speed that I got from Gamespot DLX.

However, I happen to think the demo is worth it - you get a huge variety of weapons throughout the course of the demo, some of which are an absoulte joy to watch in action, and you get two levels to test them out on (plus one cut scene that insults the French.. good stuff).

The A.I. is a bit dim-witted, no bad thing when you're completely outnumbered by enemy hordes, but I still feel it could do with a little tweaking before its release (or since it already appears to be released in the U.S., I hope they tweaked it before its release).

The sticky bombs are fun too, attach them to any innocent animal and watch them become shocked and run.. and if you've picked the right animal at the right time, you can attach a sticky bomb to it, and then watch it charge into the middle of the enemy before detonating - good stuff.

Plenty of over-the-top action to be found here, I just hope that the full game manages to keep up the pace.
