Will it arrive on time?

I'm so excited.

Come on, if you've seen the screen shots you just have to be excited.

~This said it's getting mixed reviews, there's some on foot parts of the game that are said to be kind of clumsy.

But as promised the last Rogue Squadron game is released as part of this game this time in co-op mode. There is Mp stuff from vs to co op to vs with all the bad guys firing at you as well and so on.

It certainly up there on my horizon with HL2 on the pc. :D

i just really liked to see what the Hoth & Endor battles would be like in this version! i mean on Rogue Squadron 2, they were amazing especially Endor with the 100's of tie fighters and star destroyers and the unbelievable hard difficulty setting on it! im waiting to see what the third-person areas are like since thats a new thing in this series of games! yeah and also i hope this game is much much easier!

I too would like a slightly easier ride (I'm still stuck going round the legs of the AT ATs (keep wacking into the knees).

More to the point though I'm looking forward to the MP side and either co op or vs mode. I really hope that works well. Certainly R2 was beautiful atmospheric stuff, so I feel I could forgive the game faults providing some of that beauty and MP is carried through to the new game.

a co-op mode is something i would really look forward to especially intergalatic battles in space! only thing if the graphics are so improved on this game, wouldnt there be some slowdown?

Some of the stuff I've seen written kind of suggests that you get a feel of more going on, but it's wallpaper cause the extra ships don't actually attack you and certainly that would be a way of make more Appear to be happening without actually slowing down the graphics.

In case you want to see a fair number of positive feedbacks on the game which is out in the US I believe.

(I still don't get how they pack so much info into such small disks

yeah unbelievable that its only 1.5 GB yet PS2 & Xbox use DVDs and whereas there are some games that are cross-platform and they are exactly the same! must be one hell of coding & compression used on GC discs!

Well I've finally managed to play this game last week for the first time and its quite amazing. The game carries the tradition of the ULTRA HARD difficulty as from the previous game. Some of the missions are just so frustrating. I did enjoy that Speeder bike chase level set in Return of the Jedi though. Even though that was hard itself, I had alot of laughs with that in trying to see how long I can last without crashing into the trees at high speeds.

I think the best part of the game was being able to play Rogue Squadron 2 in the Co-Op mode. Much fun whilst trying to do the first level and racing each other down the Death Star trench while also trying to protect one another from Darth Vader. I've also noticed they made it much harder as well i.e. the Endor battle seems to have like another 100 tie-fighters added in. There are some occasional slowdown at times, especially big explosions but overall, it still runs very smooth.

Again it really is amazing how they crammed both games in though and how the Co-Op mode was able to run quite well.
