People keep asking me what I want for Christmas - and since they're not willing to spend hundreds of pounds on me, I have to rack my brains in search of novel things that they can buy me and that I'll actually appreciate.

However, because I'm feeling particularly lazy this year, it'd be just spiffy if you kind folk could recommend things that I should have bought for me this Christmas - aside from XBox360 games...

Cheers!

Socks. They always come in handy.

My wife recently bought this for her brother:

The Dangerous Book for Boys

When I had a look through it my first statement was "I want that too!" Its basically a book about all the things boys/men should know. Chapters include

Artillery you say... I'm interested in this myself.

Depends what the budget is but Family Guy and Futurama is always good. Or a foam brick...

A nice little voucher for Itunes or Amazon is a good fallback.

Also......it seems possible you'll get some DIY tools. Not what you want, so much as what she wants you to do next tongue.gif

The Dangerous book for boys is something I've got for a mate and it's waiting till I next see him.

RC toys are kind of fun and they don't have to be fancifully expensive.

Socks - always good to have socks.

I'm disappointed that someone else would get my goat (oooh.. when I'm rich I'm so having a goat to eat everything in my garden), yes, I'm a horrible, horrible person.

RC toys are fantastic - I have a really nippy car, but I never get to use it, so doubt that planes, boats or other things will be used much either.

There was a little book, similar to the Dangerous book for boys, that was out around Christmas - full of dad-knowledge, I didn't buy it - and now can't find the chuffing thing!

Oww, I think people say that to my ideas too much, maybe I should stop having ideas.
