Just borrowed this off a friend, and to be honest im glad its only borrowed. My first impressions were that the graphics are underwelming to say the least. The textures on cars look crap its just a single block of green with wheels. The face details are good but abit to 2D for example pearl knecklesses look flat and have no depth to them. Mafia is almost 4 years old but i think its looks onpar with this and in some places better.
This is a console game and the controls i think reflect this it feels clunky and awkward, i use a mouse i should be able to free roam and not have to lock onto targets. This game would be best played with a PS2 pad, also freedom is limited i kept getting told that i was leaving the mission area. All in all this seems like another EA cash in, Mafia is what the Godfarther should be..... |

Surprised? No.
Disappointed? Slightly - only as much as I am when any decent movie license is wasted, and lets face facts - there's very few good video games of movies. It's sad that Mafia (which is getting on in years now) is still the best gangster themed game there is, although it was rather special... |
