The original BBC radio broadcasts also capture the essence of the books nicely.

They are linked to elsewhere on these forums but i'll link again here :-

Oh dear. I seem to have found a surprising amount of pleasure in reading Dean Koontz's stuff and am currently working my way through everything he has written. It's fun stuff, but horror is a genre I've always steered clear of before and I feel sullied by it tongue.gif

That said, The Taken was great fun.

Currently reading Cold Fire.

(am eagerly awaiting a new book by Lois McMaster Bujold, my fav author)

Oh Damn.

New book by Bujold was a Pt1. Which I finished in a day because it was one of those you not only don't want to put down, but more to the point don't want to eat, drink or do anything else.

The downside of such things is it's finished and now you have to wait for the next one. Still, Bujold is, to my taste, one of those authors who hasn't written a duff book. (she is apparently an author who's won more Hugo awards for best author than anyone aside from Robert Heinlein - if you know scifi that's pretty impressive an accolade).

Gorgeous stuff. Now I just have to wait another 6 months for the second part.......sad.gif

Yeah I do really like Dean Koontz's stuff, the characters feel very real as well. Really sucks you in.
