I thought we should keep these seperate so I start another thread for a different hobby.
Now I know for a fact I'm not the only enthusiast in this field. I've been taking pictures now for longer than the Pig's been breathing....which is a depressing thought. I started out in my early teens with one of the tiny 110 sized film cameras, and then ventured into the world of low end SLRs. (They of the Dixons own brand Miranda lenses) and some very old Pentax bodies, and in later years a couple of low end Pentax lenses. In the past couple of years I bought a rather nice digital camera which has renewed my enthusiasm with it's ease of use, low running/production costs, and above all it's size and the fact it just slips in the pocket till it's needed. Hardware aside my greatest pleasure is landscape and simple nature/texture shots, along with the usual family photos. I've long been a fan of wide angle shots that make for a tiny bit of distortion. Anyhow here are a couple. If people want to post more, try and display at 800x600 and if possible drop the resolution down so the page continues to load smoothly. Under 200k is good. Under 150 is better. |
