As most of you know i have a wavemaster case in black with a horrid blue tinted window.....

(see my site www.pilchy.co.uk for more pics of it as a bare shell.....)

Well i have a spare panel and had decided i was going to get another window cut, probably flames of some sort. So i decided that i was going to jigsaw them out.

BUT THEN!

I met someone who works for an engineering company....

Who has CNC machines....

Now for them that dont know what a CNC machine is, it is a machine that they use for doing precise cutting of metal for engineering.

Any how John said that he could do it... so i now have the design i want cut out.....

Now i needed to edit the image a bit (Looks rougher, but allows the panel etc strength.....)

So the rough look of what the design will look like on the case is this..

The final design will be a little larger than the one on the page and naoki and will be onto a solid black panel that i will place perspex behind.....

When the panel comes back and i get the net again i will show you the finished result from the cut, then when i get completely.

But once again Thanks John from Miltufit Engineering (Ill owe you a few drinks when you are back in devon)

Pig for pointing me in the direction when i asked where to find pics of flames...

and Naoki for bouncing ideas about biggrin.gif

Oooh... I can see the tops of your shoes, and there's another one under the bed thing.... and is that a reflection at the bottom of the image? Hmmm... Curious...

That aside (there's always fun to be had looking where you're not meant to in images), I look forward to seeing how it turns out in the end - how much is it going to cost you to have done?

Oooooh, classy design. They look a little like go faster stripes to me - except they are maybe go faster flames. Are you sure this is a good omen for your 'puter? Just don't overclock your CPU too much! tongue.gif

What metal are you getting it cut from? Aluminium or what? Get your mate to anodise it and you can avoid a few more electric shocks maybe.

And, I noticed your dirty trainers also. Is that a sock on your bed? What trainers you got then?

now i kinda forgot about this... damn spook dragging me off to play Battlefield 2... That boy is a bad influence....

Anyhow the pic is below... I would love to show you a pick of it on the case, but the problem is the case lighting on the inside isnt no-where near light enough(The tint is far too heavy). So eventually i am gonna nab even more cathodes and it should work... but the actual finish on the window does look spiffy!
