Hi Pilch and Spooky,
My first time on this forum, more new experiences for me.

Hi Sapins. Nice to see you made it here. laugh.gif

Cool looking case - nice job. Glad you resolved the project and got it all done in time. Thanks for dropping by and taking the time to let us know how it went!

Do you play games at all? We're all playing Half Life 2 at the moment and meet up for bouts of Counter Strike: Source at Exiled-Gamers' own server, kindly provided by PilchY. You're welcome to join in!!

Hello Sapins and welcome to the forum. Nice case you have there. How much was it all together and what spec computer is that? That a USB bay underneath one of your CD Drives?

Hi Naoki Maeda, thanks for the welcome glad to be a member.

I bought the motherboard bundle from Novatech for £265 and the case, PSU and cables from Refresh Computers in Portsmouth (came to £145). I also bought a control unit for the fans and lights and the UV covers for the spare PCI and Memory slots from a French firm, www.pc-look.com another £35, they have an English version of the site, and they deliver to the UK for very good postage rates.

The spec is a Pentium 4 3.0Ghz in an Asus board, from the top I have a DVD ROM drive, a CD RW Drive, and yes your sharp eyes have spotted the USB 2.0 card, next a blank space where I was going to put a Control unit for the fans and the lights but it will not fit!, it is 2mm too wide, I have e-mailed the firm to send it back.
I have 2 HDD's 1 of 15Gb with XP Home + SP2 and one of 80Gb for my data, photos etc:
I am going to tidy up the cables next, I have some snap on sleeving for them.

PilchY

Had a look at the PSU, a bit expensive at the moment though, maybe later on.

Cheers Mundy,

I'm going to work on tidying it up next and getting a new fan controller. Bit addictive this!

another thing... look for an i-cute base.. means that the case gets lifted up a bit and you can fit cathodes underneath... looks awesome in the dark... and believe me at a computer fair if people stop and stare it must be interesting... plus they are clear and accept coloured cathodes so even easier to light the case up... http://www.themodhouse.co.uk/store/product...products_id=178 if you want one lemme know.. i can get them for good money...

Hi PilchY,

Thanks for the info. I've started tidying up the cables, can't tuck them down behind the motherboard, they would come into contact with the soldered circuits, don't want to risk a short. I have managed to get the spare cables behind the drive cage, doesn't look too bad. I'll post another picture when it's done.
I've just tried to look at the i-cute base, the company has stopped trading! Maybe I'll get to a computer fair the next time I visit the UK.

Visit the UK? Where abouts are you from Sapins? Can't wait for a picture to see what you have currently done with your case. Yeah the company stopped trading sometime earlier in the year. But since Pilchy knows the person who used to run the place, you could ask him for some good deals if your interested. Its also the place where I brought my case and some modding equipment last year and they got some good stuff.
