For people who love your mobile phones and want to keep up with 'future' trendy technology, heres some snibbits. It's taken them long enough to finally bring this technology here and god knows how long it has already been out on the other side of the world.

DoCoMo's i-mode technology means users can access e-mail, watch film clips, chat, play games and do their online banking via their mobile phone.

The deal is designed to boost MMO2's revenue and help DoCoMo achieve its ambitions in Europe.

MMO2 has 22 million customers across the three countries involved.

Under the tie-up O2 UK and O2 Ireland will have exclusive use of DoCoMo's i-mode branding and technology when it is introduced in the second half of 2005.
