Ok I have to admit that my pc's rear end is less than accessible. Fact is it's cable-chaos back there, partly because in order to get access to the rear connectors I have to unplug scanner and printer to move them so I've got room to swivel the tower. Which is why I don't want to be pulling out the pc to swap between headphones and speakers.

Stage set, so here's the prob.

I recently bought myself a really nice headset (the medusa - http://www.gurureview.co.uk/index.php?opti...sk=view&id=141), which is great but it means that I either have to have it plugged into the soundcard or my speakers. Can't have both. And whereas much of the time I'm happy to be locked to the pc, there are times when I might be listening to music or internet radio (via realplayer - surprisingly something I've only recently come round to), and move around the room - not dancing, just doing things :P .

So, does anyone know of some kind of adaptor which I can feed through the soundcard and plug both the 4 headset leads into as well as the 5 for the speakers and then switch between the devices as required?

I know that Audigy have an external adaptor but its excessively expensive. :o
