With the fortnightly gather somewhat redundant currently, I thought it was time to offer the lucky forum members who owned a copy of BF1942 (and have downloaded DC Final) the chance to have plenty of fun repeatedly shooting me - its been far too long since the last gathering, and although PilchY has something in the works, I really have a craving to be shot on Wednesday eve....

So, who wants a slow-moving easy target?

I'll post the server details closer to the time, not quite sure if it'll be the standard combat-styled outing, or one in which I attempt to capture a flag...

Not that it makes much difference, judging by my past few outings I'll be the one coming up with inventive reasons for why I'm on 3 kills, 29 deaths and 1 point.

I did notice the other day when we played with maby, your shooting skills had somewhat deserted you....

And even the mabster seemed a bit rusty... who is going to drag him along and are we going to voice it?

The other day was exceptionally bad - but I've never liked the map much, and as I said at the time - the sunshine was making it rather hard to see much in detail, especially in dark places - or in the distance... Was not good...

Or maybe DC Final hates me....

And I don't know how to contact him anymore, we need some kind of Batman-styled light-fitting to attract his attention.

And voice? Could do... It'd be a laugh...

Haven't even played BF1942/DC for many months now so I may well just be in the same state as you guys :D. So if I can't shoot you or anything then expect me to use other means of killing you, though I will have to sacrifice myself along the process.

Me and Adam are on Teamspeak now...

To get team speak go to www.goteamspeak.com and get this DOWNLOAD

Open it, then go to file and connect.

Put in a server name. eg TS

Server details.. voice.teamspeak.org

Then Give yourself a username

Connect to the server.

Search for a room in the top left window, for a room called exiled. Double click, then the password is bf1942.

Once in there we will help you set the sound up..

Should of posted this sooner then I won't have to waste 'just a couple of minutes' to set it all up. Well least now this gather is a definate. Anymore people would like to join? That's you they already have the required software & downloads etc lol!

im trying to join here but it goes to load the map the loading bar is on, the background is gray and then i get taken back to desktop <_<

Well, that was fun.

Listening to Maby sing 'Lets get ready to Rumble' was a highlight of my evening, if not my life... It's just a shame that the TS server was so poor, maybe it'd be better off renting one on the cheap if we were ever to make the gathers more regular? Just for a decent quality chance to call people names.

And there was some shooting and stuff too... That was nice...

Rebel - did you have 0.7 installed first? As that's needed - other than that there's a couple of threads that may help you from the DC forums

Yes it was fun although Teamspeak was certainly an arse of a program to begin with & Pilchy's bad instructions to get on lol. Next time remember to type case sensitive letters. I do think next time we ought to try a less crowded server since that way we can all kill each other more. Shame I never had a chance to use a plane :(. Although at least we had some fun revenge kills.
