Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil is (surprisingly) the first expansion pack for Doom 3:

Resurrection of Evil is being co-developed by Nerve Software and id Software and will take place after the events in Doom 3. The pack features new locations, characters and weapons, including the return of the double-barrelled shotgun. However, the best news is that Resurrection of Evil also features improved multiplayer action with support for up to eight players in all new maps. No word on light switches or fun making an appearance with this expansion

Yeah, I haven't even the will to finish off Doom 3 vanilla. It's just so mind numbingly boring and repetitive. If I see another of those skeletal alien things that teleport down on this satanic grid thing and starts throwing fireballs at me, I'm gonna do something I regret...

Won't be getting the XPansion pack then - wonder how much people will be willing to waste on it?
