Okay, this thing called Webrebate (by Toprebates.com) has installed itself on my Computer.
Does anyone know what it is or what it does?
And mainly, how the piggin' hell do I get rid of it?

What've you tried so far?

I'd suggest something along the lines of Ad-Aware or Spybot to start with...

I've tried both of those.
Spybot actually made my computer crash.
Ad-Aware keeps bringing up Registry Keys. I'm guessing that the Webrebate thing makes those...

Someone else had the same problem as you - it was fixed at this forum over here

as I understand it webrebate is adware (and the quote I saw says it loves company so it may not be the only extra you have on your system)

Do you have a virus checker running (if not why not :P )
