Anyone know of any tennis games out for the Gamecube?
I played Virtua tennis on the PS2 the other day and was impressed! But I don't think it's out for the GC! |

Naoki is the man to answer this one properly, him being the all knowing console guru...
All I can say is that after a quick search on Game Rankings - only two titles came up, the unreleased Mario Tennis - and the rather average WTA Tour Tennis (which also features a scary looking lady on the box) |

That damn plumber gets everywhere!!! I was afraid I'd only be able to find a Mario tennis game!!! Shame really, sports games aren't really my cup of tea (Apart from Madden 2004 & NFL Street)!

Yes you should bow down to me. Heh not really I'm only an Apprentice. Anyways I've hardly seen any good tennis games for the GC. I guess Pig may have already answered this one. Seems you might as well wait for the dinky little Mario Tennis game. The previous one on the N64 was quite fun actually. He does get everywhere though doesn't he. Tennis, Golf, Kart, perhaps maybe he should star in a 5 a-side football/soccer game or Mario Olympics lol. Just pray that in the future there would be a decent Tennis game out, perhaps maybe a Virtua Tennis 3 seeing as Sega seem to port their good arcade sports games to the GC, minus Virtua Tennis 2 which it should have been. I may be mistaken, but I could of swear that Sega released some special sports pack ages ago and might have had a tennis game on it. There was also one which was like a squash game but in REZ - tron style graphics. |
