Anyone been following this one at all?

Based on the same engine as Half Life 2, a first person Role Playing Game, which puts you in the role of a recently 'turned' Vampire - with the option to choose between one of the games seven different clans of vampires - each with their own approach to things.

I'd quite like this to turn out good - for more info look on the Offical Home Page, gaze upon a few screenshots and have a read of a recent-ish preview

I seem to remember a prior game VtM the Redemption.......which was beautiful and yet somehow empty.

Which is not to say it wasn't liked by the review who seemed to average about 8/10 for it.

But the screenies for the new one are rather...sweet. :o

It boasts on the offical site about NPC interaction, and how they will react differently to what you look like (which will depend on which of the vampire clans you join) - I'm certainly intrigued by it, at least it's trying to do something different in a gaming world littered with games about the War....

The official site is quite nifty too, although somewhat 56k unfriendly.

Like the look of this game.

You know, I've never played an RPG before. Closest I've come is some Speccy games I guess.

Yahoo Games have five videos available for download - combined they offer more than 30 minutes worth of footage.

Vampires are so cool...

Oh no, a Gothic Pig. :o

There's a 30 minute trailer available for download, featuring running commentry - you can get such things from FilePlanet or FileRush is such things appeal to you - or you can read Gamespot and their interpretation of the trailer.
